|Denise Meredith – Practice Manager/Veterinary Technician|
|Denise Meredith knew from a very young age that she wanted a career that involved working with animals. She graduated from Virginia Tech with degrees in Animal Science and Biology. She began working for Dr. Hart in June of 1990 and has been an integral part of the practice ever since. Through hands-on experience and continual education courses she has become an indispensable member of the Kingsview team. When it comes to dealing with the care of our patients, she is a role model and a teacher to the rest of the staff. On top of these responsibilities, Denise is also in charge of the day to day operation of the hospital. She is the grease that keeps things running smoothly.
Some additional things Denise would like to share about herself: she is a loving wife, a proud mother of four children, and in what spare time she can find, she enjoys reading, kayaking, and enriching her spiritual life. She is the “human mom” to a cat Woody (adopted from Animal Allies), and a pit mix Riley (adopted from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria).
|Elizabeth Edwards – Assistant Practice Manager/Veterinary Technician|
|Elizabeth (Liz) Edwards began working at Kingsview Animal Hospital in December of 1999. She graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Chemistry. Through many years of hard work, hands-on experience, and dedication to animals, and to the practice, Liz has earned the respect and appreciation of both the doctors and clientele, and has shown that she has what it takes to be Assistant Manager. Her intelligence combined with her compassion made her a wonderful addition to the Kingsview staff.
When Liz is not on the clock at Kingsview, she will most likely be found pursuing her other passion- horses. Liz has been a talented rider since her youth and is now passing her gift on to others. She is a licensed and insured hunter/jumper horse trainer, and spends much of her time showing and giving private lessons. Liz enjoys attending Washington Capitals games with her husband Andrew. They are parents to Addy (a Wheaton Terrier) and two cats, Ginny and Ron Weasley, (two kittens who were hand raised from ten days of age by the Kingsview staff!)
|Jill Reinmuth – Veterinary Technician|
|Jill Reinmuth graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Anthropology. Jill’s first experience with Kingsview was in 1988 as a little girl when she brought her cat in with her family to see Dr. Hart. During high school Jill volunteered at the clinic where her love of animals grew. Little did she know that years later she would return to the practice full time to pursue a career as a technician. Jill enjoys working with animals and constantly learning new skills. She is compassionate in her work and a favorite among clients. She enjoys the Washington Capitals, movies, and reading. Jill currently resides with her dog Abby and two cats, Emma and Elsa, who were adopted from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.|
|Lindsey joined our team in October 2012 shortly after graduating from West Springfield High School. She is currently splitting her time between completing her Associates Degree at Northern Virginia Community College and learning about small animal medicine as an assistant here at Kingsview. Lindsey is a very kind-hearted and dedicated individual with a passion for helping animals. She has previous work experience in caring for dogs and cats in a daycare and kennel setting. She has been indispensable in looking after every animal who stays at Kingsview, whether they are recovering from surgery, are hospitalized because of illness, or staying with us while their owners are on vacation. All of our animals are in excellent hands on Lindsey’s watch.
When Lindsey is not working or attending class, she enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle by spending time at the gym, hiking, and cooking up new and healthy recipes. Lindsey is an excellent cook and has recently delved into finding and creating tasty gluten-free recipies for a friend diagnosed with Celiacs disease.
Lindsey currently has three rescue kitties, Cujo, Kiya, and Samoa and a family dog named Bear, a pomeranian mix. She looks forward to adopting more cats and definitely some chickens when time and space allow.
